Tech Tip


So, I am potentially the least technologically savvy person who has ever existed. It is a struggle to add any extra little thing to any story, project, or post.  To put it in perspective, I still struggle to add  a picture to each post. Yeah... That's  real life.  

BUT, this week I learned how to embed a Youtube video for music in my google site for my project, which you can find HERE.  

IT's actually really easy and not nearly as intimidating as I thought it was going to be! You seriously just have to press the embed button, and make sure your little blinking typer thingy is a good spot on your page. The nyou copy and paste the link to the video into the spot that pops up after clicking on the embed button and hit enter! B

VOILA!!! Embedded Youtube Video!

Introduction to Tricia the Dog-Mom and History Major

My Introduction My name is Tricia and I'm 24 years old.  I'm a senior at OU majoring in History. I hope to one day become a high school Social Studies teacher and dance team coach.  Below you'll find a few more things you may want to know about me!  I'm originally from San Antonio, Texas, but moved to Freeport, Illinois when I was about 5.  I technically lived in Illinois until I left for college at 17, but I spent summers with my grandparents back in Texas.  I'm an only child and when I left for college, my parents high-tailed it right back to Texas and are now settled in Lakeway, Texas, right outside Austin on Lake Travis.   (Texas Flag Photo by  Wikipedia ) I went to Northern Michigan University for 2.5 years before taking a little time off to live in Lakeway with my parents and then I transferred to OU.  At NMU I majored in Political Science and minored in Dance.  I was a competitive dancer for about 10 years and really miss dancing a ton.

Time Strategies

Time Strategies  (Photo by  Wikimedia Commons )  Schedule Review:  As a procrastinator to the extreme, I've tried to veer away from that with the schedule emailed to me by Laura.  I should have no excuse to not have everything completed in advanced, but we all know how that goes.  At least I have extra time available on the weekends to try to do extra credit or work ahead!  Four Questions to Help You Overcome Procrastination Procrastination is ALWAYS, UNDOUBTEDLY my biggest downfall during a semester.  I trick myself into thinking I have tons of time and leave everything to the last minute.  This has put me struggling to catch up to my peers on numerous occasions and I'd love to break the habit now.  I loved this article because it gave me simple, non-stressful things to ask myself to help me get motivated.  My favorite was choosing 3 Biggest Priorities for the day.  I hope to employ this in the future.   How to Build a Realistic Study Plan That You
